TRAIL DAWG offers a Trail Guide service

BALLYCASTLE FOREST - TRAIL DAWG

The TRAIL DAWG service offered is primarily orientated around building and guiding day visits to Ballycastle Forest’s natural trails. Group size is limited. You bring your own bike and our agreement is that our guide will accompany you around the kind of trails that you are interested in riding. This means that you get the most riding done based on the time you have available. Mountain Biking is not an extreme sport but injuries and accidents do happen. By booking a TRAIL DAWG guide you full understand that TRAIL DAWG accepts no liability for anything that may happen to you while you ride your bicycle.

WHAT WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Making sure you ride as many tracks as possible based on both the time available (the session length booked) and the ability & competence of the riders in the group to access and explore the tracks that we identify as being suitable for the riders present.

  • We confirm the meeting place and time frame booked.

  • We provide the human trail guide and Raffy if available..

  • We’ll get you back to your car after the session and support that as required e.g. in the event of a mechanical failure or other unplanned mishap.

  • If you choose to book a Trail Guide you will provide a Mountain Bike in good working condition for each rider and all those being guided agree to ride within the limits of their current ability

  • You will pay in full via electronic payment and in advance of the date of your booking. Failure to do so may jeopardise you booking.

  • You will get yourself to and from the agreed meeting point at Ballycastle Forest.

  • You will bring any water or food required to fuel the session booked.

  • You will bring any tools or spares required to ensure you Mountain Bike is fully operational.
